Dr. Alan K. SokoloffDr. Alan K. Sokoloff, D.C., D.A.C.B.S.P. or “Dr. Sok”, as his patients refer to him, is the owner/clinic director of the Yalich Clinic Performance and Rehabilitation in Glen Burnie, MD, where he has practiced for over 23 years. He was just elected to his 2nd term as President of the Maryland Chiropractic Association. Dr. Sok was selected as Maryland’s “Chiropractor of the Year 2001-2” and the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physician’s Sports Chiropractor of the Year 2006. He holds a post-graduate degree as a Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Dr. Sok has been a member of the University of Maryland Sports Medicine Team since 1991. He served a residency at the United States Olympic Training Center, summer of 1997 and was selected to the medical team for the United States at the 1998 Goodwill Games. Dr. Sok was appointed to the USA Olympic Medical Team for the 1999 Pan Am Games in Winnipeg, Canada. He continues to be the team chiropractor for Baltimore Ravens of the NFL since 1999 and the University of Maryland Terps. Dr. Sokoloff was also the team chiropractor for the Washington Nationals (MLB) and Bowie Baysox. For over 10 years, Dr. Sok hosted a weekly health, interactive health radio program in Baltimore called “Talkin’ Back” on AM-680 WCBM. Dr. Sok incorportates many different hands on techniques in treating his patients. In addition to chiropractic care, he is certified in Graston Techinque, and an instructor in S.A.S.T.M. (Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) technique (and various myofascial release techniques). Dr. Sok is also a recipient of the "Award of Excellence" for his DVD series including "Back Talk" and "Hands On." Produced and distributed through the Library Video Network, these videos deal with different aspects of preventing injuries in the work place and home.Dr. Sok can be your next speaker! Dr. Jessica Taylor, ATCDr. Taylor graduated from Lynchburg College with a degree in Athletic Training. She then graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida with a strong concentration in Sports Medicine working with various local sports teams and various training facilities. Dr. Taylor puts her unique background and training to work in the Yalich Clinic and is currently the team chiropractor for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Retrievers. In addition, she is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with a focus on advanced rehabilitative techniques.

Dr. Chris FeilDr. Feil Joined the Yalich Clinic team after completing a 6 month clinical internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda Maryland. During this internship he worked with active duty soldiers, helping them get back to combat level fitness. He also spent a great deal of time learning about neurologic /orthopedic injuries and diagnostic imaging from some of the nation’s top doctors at the hospital. Dr. Feil graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic. While attending school he worked in the Palmer Rehabilitation and Sports Injury Department. Prior to chiropractic school, Dr. Feil graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Feil is certified in Active Release Technique, a TMJ provider for the Central Institute of Human Performance, and is on the referral network for the Motion Palpation Institute after his extensive study in the technique. Dr. Feil continually reads and researches about health and exercise related topics, he contributes articles on these topics to several chiropractic publications. He is a recreational runner and road biker and enjoys working with athletes to improve their performance and prevent injuries. |
